outdo yourself

Find out what our winners have been doing since the launch of our inspiring Outdo Yourself campaign.

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

* Harriet Tubman

One of the most inspiring videos we received in our recent Outdo Yourself contest was from a girl named Mariann in Estonia whose submission captures the very essence of what it means to do Outdo Yourself.

After having her second baby, Mariann discovered a passion for photography and particularly baby photography. After photographing enthusiastically for a year, Mariann said she felt she reached a point where she could grow no further with her photography.

Soon after, Mariann then discovered website creativelive.com – a hub with thousands of creative videos and tutorials and a thriving community of innovators and doers – and realised there was so much more she wanted to learn.

“Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.” — Anonymous

After purchasing several tutorials, her thirst for knowledge and desire to learn increased more and more. Mariann´s goal is to purchase additional tutorials to continue developing her editing and photography skills as well as to purchase new equipment.

Mariann´s video reminds us of the importance of continually developing your skills, to keep learning, to challenge yourself, and striving to be the very best you can.

Outdoing Yourself

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style.”

* Maya Angelou

When we ran our Outdo Yourself contest last year, the goal was to encourage people to share their goals and dreams with us and to inspire people to pursue what matters most to them.

Our goal with Outdo Yourself was to help people make their dreams a reality.

To participate in the contest, we asked that entrants to record a short video of themselves telling us what their goal or dream is, why it was important to them, and what was holding them back.

For some people, it was something they already started but needed help completing. For others, it was something they hadn´t yet pursued due to not having the means or resources.

After reviewing all of the incredible video submissions - 133 videos from 18 countries to be exact - we would award the lucky winners with a generous grant along with the mentorship they needed to help achieve their goal

What It Takes To Make Your Dreams Happen

Along with dedication, self-belief, skill, and passion, we, at Ferratum Money, know that money can also be a factor for people pursuing their goals.

After all, money can sometimes open a previously closed door, and enable you to answer the door when opportunity knocks.

We wish Mariann all the very best with her photography and ongoing learning.

Stay tuned for more inspiring stories from Outdo Yourself next month.

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow”.
